SIGN LANGUAGE PANEL

Encourage inclusivity on your playground with the Spark Series Sign Language Panel. This panel displays all of the information needed for someone to learn the basic alphabet in sign language. On the front side of the panel, each letter is displayed next to a drawing of a hand making that sign. The drawings are detailed enough to easily show some of the subtle differences in hand signs. On the back of the panel, a message is written using only sign language that children will be able to read for themselves by applying what they learn on the front side. They can always run back around to the front side if they need help remembering a letter. The message says ‘Welcome to our playground’, which lets everyone know that the playground is an inclusive place for everyone. All of the writing and drawings on the panel are indented into it, which allows visually impaired children to ‘read’ them as well.
